It basically has two options for its engine, first is the 2.4 liter-standard engine with 184 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. These powertrains are paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with a standard front wheel drive (FWD) drivetrain. An all-wheel drive (AWD) is also available as an upgrade. Accordingly, the 2017 Honda CR-V has an EPA-rated fuel-efficiency of 27/33/29 in the city, highway and combined respectively.

It was reported by Digital Trends that the 2017 Honda CR-V has a better ride quality as compared to its previous model. In addition, the cabin is also a lot more quiet thanks to enhanced road noise isolation and this gives the 2017 Honda CR-V a better rating than its previous models. It was also mentioned in the same report that despite the new model's growth in size, its responsiveness in speed has not diminished. In fact, the 2017 Honda CR-V goes from zero to 60mph faster by a margin of 1.5 seconds than its predecessor.

Highlighted Features, Price And Release Date

The 2017 Honda CR-V also has its fair share of features in terms of infotainment and safety. The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are among the best in the infotainment aspect. The safety features include Honda Sensing that has adaptive cruise control with forward-collision alert, lane-keep assist and lane departure warning as reported. The 2017 Honda CR-V price starts at $26,045 and goes up as high as $32,395. According to report, the new model makes its official sale on Dec. 21, 2016.
