This is another article of me comparing two phones. This time it is the Lenovo K6 Power and Meizu M3X. But before we compare the two smartphones, let us first talk about the price and launch date of the two devices.

Lenovo K6 Power

The Lenovo K6 Power was first announced last September. Release month is November. Price tag is Rs 9,999 ($146).

Meizu M3X

The Meizu M3X was first announced in the month of November. Release month is December. The price tag is CNY 1,699 ($247).

Lenovo K6 Power vs Meizu M3X

Network. The networks for the Lenovo K6 Power are GSM, HSPA, and LTE. On the other hand, networks of the Meizu M3X are also GSM, HSPA, and LTE. Both have same networks, so I will make this round a tie.

Body. The body dimension of the Lenovo K6 Power is 141.9 x 70.3 x 9.3 mm and body weight is 145g. For the Meizu M3X, body dimension is 153.8 x 76 x 7.4 mm and body weight is 165g. If you've been reading my previous articles, 140-145g is my ideal body weight of a smartphone. I will give this round to the Lenovo K6 Power.

Display. The display type of the Lenovo K6 Power is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, display size is 5.0 inches, and display resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels. As for the Meizu M3X, display type is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, display size is 5.5 inches, and display resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels. As a person with large fingers, I like large screens, but not large phones. Just the right size enough to fit inside my pockets without having the need to worry if my phone will crack (it happened to me before). With that being said, I will give this round to the Meizu M3X.

Platform. The OS of the Lenovo K6 Power is Android OS, v6.0 (Marshmallow), the chipset is Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430, CPU is Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53, and GPU is Adreno 505. The OS of the Meizu M3X is Android OS, v6.0 (Marshmallow), the chipset is Mediatek MT6757 Helio P20, CPU is Octa-core (4x2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.6 GHz Cortex-A53), and GPU is Mali-T880MP2. To be honest, when I hear "Mediatek," the first thing that comes to my mind is the number one selfie phone in the world right now, Vivo V5. I don't have anything against it, but it didn't really strike me as a must-have phone. Now, because of this bias judgment (LOL), I will give this round to Lenovo K6 Power.

Memory. The internal memory of the Lenovo K6 Power is 16 GB and 2 GB RAM or 32 GB and 3 GB RAM. While Meizu M3X's internal memory is 32 GB and 3GB RAM or 64 GB and 4 GB RAM. I like playing mobile games, so phones with high RAM is a big plus for me. The Meizu M3X wins this round.

Camera. The Lenovo K6 Power's primary camera is 13 MP, secondary camera is 8 MP, and video is 1080p@30fps. The primary camera for Meizu M3X is 12 MP, secondary camera is 5 MP, and video is 1080p@30fps. The Lenovo K6 Power wins this round.

Sound. For the sound, both devices have loudspeakers and a 3.5mm jack, making this round a tie. Personally, I'm not fond of the smartphones without headphone jacks. It just makes things a little bit inconvenient.

Battery. The Lenovo K6 Power's battery is a non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery. Stand-by time is up to 312 hours, talk time is up to 48 hours, and music play is unknown. As for the Meizu M3X, the battery is a Non-removable 3200 mAh battery, talk time, standby time, and music play is unknown. Given that the Meizu M3X lacks information about its battery performance, I will make this round a tie.

Features. The sensory features of the Lenovo K6 Power are a fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. While the Meizu M3X sensory features are a fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Another feature of the Meizu M3X is that the device has fast-charging feature. The alone makes the winner of this round the Meizu M3X.

The Final Verdict

The tally is Lenovo K6 Power with 3 wins and Meizu M3X with 3 wins also. However, if we also add the price, the Lenovo wins with its price tag of $146. So for me, between the Lenovo K6 Power and Meizu M3X, the Lenovo K6 Power is the better phone. But hey, this is my opinion. If you any comments and suggestions, I would like to hear them.
