Spider-Man Gets Classic With Web-Wings In 'Spider-Man Homecoming'; New Footage Hints Suit Upgrade By Iron Man
Marvel Studios can’t just stop making movies and nobody is complaining since they've been great so far. “Doctor Strange” just got relieved from cinemas worldwide and now news of the next Marvel movie come up. An unseen footage from “Spider-Man: Homecoming” was revealed letting fans take a peek at what’s coming.
Sony released an exclusive footage of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” through its panel in the recent Comic-Con Experience 2016 held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The new trailer was not released online but those who saw it said it was short but jaw-dropping awesome. The intriguing footage has unveiled some unexpected twists to the Marvel characters.
The short video showed a new upgraded suit for Peter Parker. This confirms the rumors that Spider-Man will be getting the classic web-wings in the new movie. Tony Stark, who will also be in the movie, developed the new suit for Spider-Man. The trailer further showed the web-slinging Marvel superhero leaping off buildings with the web-wings evidently showing under his arms.
The web-wings on Spider-Man’s outfit is one of the classic features based on the original Marvel comics. The producers for the first two Spider-Man trilogies starring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield did not have the webbing wings in their suits. Fans are happy that in the new “Spider-Man” film, the production will lean on keeping the original character’s appearance.
Tom Holland will be portraying the roles of Peter Parker and Spider-Man in the upcoming Marvel Series. His roles were introduced when he appeared in “Captain America: Civil War”, which was released in April 2016. After delivering a decent performance of the said character in that movie, fans are now curious if this new “Spider-Man” movie can actually nail it.
The recent “Spider-Man” trilogy starring Andrew Garfield did not do well at the box office, unlike the ones that starred Tobey Maguire. With the Marvel movies being greatly acclaimed and well-received this year, the studio is expecting a similar reception. “Spider-Man: The Homecoming” is set to release on July 7, 2017, in the US.
