‘The Flash’ Season 3 Episode 9 Spoilers, News And Updates: Barry Seeks Help As He Fights Savitar In Explosive Mid-Season Finale

"The Flash" season 3 saw Barry Allen ruining everyone's life in "Flashpoint." In episode 9, Barry will be facing Savitar who is known as the "God of Speed" together with Alchemy, his minion. The identity of Alchemy was recently revealed as Julian, Barry's enemy at the police department.

Savitar Knows The Weaknesses Of The Flash

However, it seems that Alchemy (Julian) is an unwilling minion of Savitar. In the promotional teaser of "The Flash" season 3 in the episode entitled "The Present," Savitar is bragging that he knows the strengths and weaknesses of Barry. He asked Jay Garrick's help who also confirmed that he is able to see Savitar.

According to Andrew Kriesberg, the showrunner of "The Flash" season 3, the show's episode 9 is its midseason finale. This episode will reveal new issues that will confront the Star Labs team of Barry with Cisco and the rest of the guys. All of them will have to make a choice of leaving the past of Flashpoint and moving ahead.

"The midseason finale (airing Dec. 6) kind of creates a new problem for our heroes that they weren't anticipating, something that they've never faced before," said Kriesberg in an interview with TV Line. "It's so big, we're actually considering changing the saga sell from talking about Flashpoint to talking about that because that's really what's driving the episodes for the rest of the season," he added.

Barry Will Seek Help From Earth Three

In trying to defeat Savitar in "The Flash" season 3, Barry will be forced to seek the help of Jay Garrick, a speedster who looks like his father on Earth 1. Alchemy has now teamed up with his master Savitar and the two are seemingly out of Barry's league when it comes to speed. He goes to Earth 3 where Jay is and will ask Jay's advice on how to confront these two new villains terrorizing his city.
