Nokia Lumia 920 Yellow Available From Rogers For $49.99

Canadian carrier Rogers was the first network to offer the Lumia 920 in Canada and now Rogers has begun offering the yellow version of the smartphone for $49.99 on a three-year contract.

Released in November 2012, the Nokia Lumia 920 is one of the most popular Windows Phone 8 (WP8) smartphones around. Rogers currently has the white, black, red and yellow versions of the handset in its smartphone lineup. All the color options are available for $49.99 on a three-year contract.

If you do not want to be tied to a lengthy contract then you will have to lay out $599.99 to buy the phone outright. Rogers is also offering a free wireless charger with the Lumia 920.

"We're excited to announce that we'll be offering the Nokia Lumia 920 in red, white and yellow," confirmed Rogers on Jan. 15.

The Lumia 920 attracts many smartphone users looking for an alternative to iOS and Android. However, the operating system is not the only reason why the Lumia 920 is popular in the smartphone space. It's also available in an array of lively colors to suit individual preferences.

The Lumia 920 packs in high-end features. The smartphone sports a 4.5-inch curved glass WXGA LCD display with 1280 x 768 pixels resolution with 332 ppi. The handset packs in a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Processor and a 2000 mAh battery.

The Lumia 920 also comes with an 8.7-megapixel rear-facing camera with the much-touted PureView technology along with autofocus, dual LED flash and Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. The smartphone offers 32GB of on-board storage and unfortunately, there is no option to expand the memory using a microSD card. The device also supports wireless charging.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is exclusively available on Rogers in Canada.
