Samsung Galaxy S4 To Use Revolutionary 'Floating Touch And PHOLED Display'

As we get closer to the actual unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S4 we can expect to get some great last-minute leaked details. The latest leak claims Samsung uses floating touch technology in the display of the Galaxy S4.

Floating touch is described as similar to Samsung's current Air View technology, which allows an S Pen to hover above a folder or video onscreen and allows a user to get a preview without ever touching the screen.

This latest rumor claims Samsung will be using the technology in the screen of the Galaxy S4. This rumor's truth is certainly possible, as we learned a few days ago that Samsung would be adding new Smart Scroll and Smart Pause features, which will allow a user to scroll information on the device using the person's eyes, and the Smart Pause feature will reportedly work by pausing video if the user looks away from the screen. Samsung is showing the world how innovative a company other than Apple can be.

Sammobile is also reporting that the reliable source has told the site Samsung will be using a new kind of display on the Galaxy S4, reportedly made out of an AMOLED material called "green PHOLED," which uses "color GREEN-YELLOW" in the display, and makes the AMOLED display 25 percent more efficient in saving power. The source believes the display on the Galaxy S4 will be an innovative and monumental feature and goes on to say:

"I know this is going to be one of the most amazing products to hit the market, since TV went color."

We are beginning to get a better idea of what Samsung will most likely unveil on March 14. Now we can add the new floating touch and  "GREEN PHOLED" to what we think we know about the 4.99-inch 1920 x 1080 HD screen, 1.8 GHz Exynos Octa processor, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera with "Samsung Orb" feature (360 degree photo capture) and new Smart Scroll and Smart Pause features that allow users to control aspects of the smartphone with their eyes.

All rumors sound juicy and seem to sound legit, but like all rumors, take these with one big grain of salt. March 14, all will be revealed.
