‘Arrow’ Spoilers, New And Updates: ‘Shocking’ Winter Finale Episode Teased By Greg Berlanti; Crossover Episodes The Most-Viewed In Six Years

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Greg Berlanti, the executive producer of 'Arrow' said that Oliver Queen will have a "shocking end of the winter (finale) moment." This upcoming midseason finale will be full of drama. It can be recalled that Ollie has gone through some terrible emotions in the previous episodes where the Dominators have brought havoc to Star City.

Will Ollie Demonstrate His Dramatic Skills?

The previous episode of "Arrow" featured the betrayal of Artemis (Madison McLaughlin) with Prometheus. Marc Guggenheim, executive producer of the show assures the fans that her actions will get a quick payoff right at the beginning of the episode. The producers will also show some of the flashback scenes of season 1 that they included in the 100th episode.

The midseason finale of "Arrow" will have some relationship drama involving Oliver and Malone, the boyfriend of Felicity. Stephen Amell who plays the Arrow teased about what would happen when they meet. He joked that this fellow might get an "arrow through the head" from him, Felicity's ex. He gave these comments at the recent Comic-Con in San Diego.

The Four-Way Crossover Of CW Is A Smashing Success

In a related development, a report from Deadline indicated that the recent four-way crossover of the network has given CW much reason to rejoice. The crossover show's rating jumped by 20 percent in the same week as last year. It proved to be CW's most-watched episodes in six years. The most watched of the four-way crossover is "Supergirl" which garnered around 3.3 million viewers.

It was also CW's highest rated Monday show among men from 18 to 49 years old in almost eight years. "The Flash" was viewed by about 4.25 million and tallied as its most-watched since "The Man in the Yellow Suit" of season 1 was aired. On the other hand, "Arrow" was able to attract 3.55 million fans and became its most watch episode. The "Legends of Tomorrow also benefitted from the four-way crossover because it attracted 3.39 million viewers, its most-watched episode since it started.
