Bea Smith To Return, Alive And Healing, In Upcoming "Wentworth" Season 5?

Every time the actress who plays Bea Smith on "Wentworth," Danielle Cormack is asked about her character's death and alleged return on the show, she always has nothing to say. Her silence has been depicted by many as a clue to the fact that Bea is indeed alive. Even though the series creator already said in an interview that Bea's death on the show needed to be done and was part of the storyline, the fans remain hopeful. Some reports have claimed that perhaps Bea is simply under solitary confinement after the brutal attack, and not dead.

Killing off one of the protagonists and the most loved characters in a series or movie is always a big risk. However, the creators of "Wentworth" went out of their comfort zone and killed off Bea, who was loved by the audience so much. Thus, this has been one of the alleged reasons why Bea could still be alive since losing her could affect the show's ratings. There are reports claiming that series creator Jo Porter is only making the audience believe of Bea's death, and that is what needed to be done for the storyline: to make people think that she is in fact dead and never to return.

Fans To Boycott The Series If Bea Smith Will Not Return To The Show

Many of the fans of the series are threatening to boycott the show if they are not to make Bea come back for "Wentworth" season five. To some, Bea's death is allegedly an insult to the LGBT community, allegedly making a statement on "bury your gas" propaganda. It is possible that this may not be what the producers are trying to say, but it could be depicted that way especially when Bea was about to have a relationship with one of its inmates before her death.
