Samsung's Unicorn Apocalypse Is Now A Real Game

Earlier this year, Samsung released a series of television commercials that follows a company developing a game called Unicorn Apocalypse. Now the Korean Company has released the Unicorn Apocalypse in the Google Play Store.

You play as a lone unicorn that creates havoc on humanity. The unicorn has magic dash powers and rainbow lasers to help in the battle against the Anti-Unicorn Force.

"The Unicorn Apocalypse has come! As the world crumbles and burns, a lone unicorn wreaks havoc on the last of humanity. Play as the unicorn, the harbinger of the apocalypse. Race across urban rooftops avoiding the deadly unicorn traps and soldiers that the Anti Unicorn Force (AUF) has deployed. Beyond the foot soldiers exist enemies both cunning and strong, so use your magic dash and rainbow lasers to blast through your enemies, avoid your own death, and prolong the Unicorn Apocalypse!" says the game's description on the Google Play Store.

Samsung released the game on March 10 and it is available only in the U.S. The game is free to download and requires Android 1.6 or over. The game features Linear Difficulty Scaling, 3 Menacing Boss Types, an Epic Metal soundtrack and an Engaging Apocalyptic Environment.

However, Unicorn Apocalypse has received mixed reviews till now.

"You play for roughly a minute, maybe a bit more, then you fall off a roof and still continue to collect points. If you're going to make commercials about something, make sure it doesn't suck," says one of the users on Google Play Store.

"This game is awesome. Don't listen to the people who are crying, they just don't know what they're doing," said another user of Google Play Store.

If you have played the game what do you think?
