NBA Trade Rumors: Are The Kings Trading DeMarcus Cousins Or Not? Injuries Put Derrick Rose And Nerlens Noel On The Trading Block?

Despite the fact that he has connected 37 percent of his three-point shooters, DeMarcus Cousins has not been able to avoid all these NBA trade rumors that persistently involved his name. He has been showing great stats lately. But still these pesky rumors are hounding the Sacramento Kings big guy and there seems to be no let-up.

Why Cousin's Name Is Always Coming Up

Some observers believe that Cousins is enjoying a season that they say he should have. Hus current average ppg is 28.8 points, with 3.4 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.4 blocks, and 10.6 rebounds. With his much improved three point shooting, he would be considered as a valuable player by the Sacramento Kings. And yet, his name is always showing up in a lot of NBA trade rumors.

It appears that the Kings is bent on trading Cousins. But why? A report says that it can be that Cousins was not able to lead the team to even one postseason trip, and for not being able to win the required number of games. Some believe that these are the two primary reasons why he is always included in a lot of NBA trade rumors.

This report suggested that he was not able to satisfy the vision that the Sacramento Kings has for him when the team signed him up that's why his name is always being brought up in NBA trade rumors. The Kings thought he would be the savior of the franchise. Although he has averaged more than 20 points per game, Cousins has not yet broken the 50 percent mark, the benchmark for centers in the league.

Are Injuries Hounding Rose and Noel?

There are also some NBA trade rumors that involve Derrick Rose and Nerlens Noel. They suggest that the injuries that these two players suffered could subject them to trade deals. Rose has missed 228 games in the last five seasons because of his back injury. Noel, on the other hand, has not played a game in the previous season because of a knee injury. Their teams have two options: hope for complete recovery, or look for a trade deal.
