However, other than that, Klaus's daughter will reportedly inherit her father's darkness when the show returns next year.
Hope To Take Vengeance Given The Fate That Klaus Has Encountered In The Hands Of The Enemies
It has been confirmed that "The Originals" season four will feature a five-year time jump from where things were left off during the season three finale. Thus, Klaus's daughter Hope will have already grown up into a young child, capable of so many things with the powers she possesses. There are even reports claiming that she may also be as dark and twisted as her father is, always filled with a vengeful heart when it comes to family. Furthermore, she may take revenge on whoever has harmed Klaus and will take drastic measures to saving him.
Aside from Hope, it has been rumored that Caroline will be the salvation of Klaus. The fan-base of the on-screen couple is still very strong, even though Caroline and Klaus have not been seen together for about three years now. Their last physical scene together was when Caroline gave into her feelings with Klaus in one moment of weakness if he promises to never return in Mystic Falls and bother her again. However, with "The Vampire Diaries" coming to an end, Caroline might already take up Klaus's offer in exploring the whole world above her.

There have also been speculations that since it has already been confirmed that "The Originals" season four will premiere on March 2017, the same month when "The Vampire Diaries" series finale will air, the two shows might be intertwined. The events of the season premiere for "The Originals" might be a continuation to the series finale of the latter mentioned show. Although this hasn't been confirmed yet, it does make a good point given the course of events to transpire in the show.
