Pokémon GO Guide: How To Get Igglybuff, Pichu, Magby, Smoochum, And More Baby Pokémon

Niantic has just rolled out the biggest update for Pokémon GO bringing along with it a few Pokémon additions. New entries are baby Pokémon Igglybuff, Pichu, Togepi, Smoochum, Cleffa, Elekid, Magby and a couple more. Here's a guide for you on how you can get the aforementioned creatures on Pokémon GO.

Pokémon GO - How To Get New Baby Pokémon

To get Igglybuff, Pichu, Togepi, Smoochum, Cleffa, Elekid, Magby and more baby Pokémon, you will have to hatch them from eggs. They will come out randomly which means you don't get to choose whichever creature to capture. The Pokémon you earn from eggs will be determined when you first get the egg. Take note that eggs in the inventory obtained prior to Dec. 12, 2016 won't have the chances to get these baby Pokémon.

In a nutshell, new baby Pokémon means new eggs. In case you are interested, Smoochum is commonly found in 10 km eggs. In the list released on Reddit, it has been known that regional Pokémon will also be implemented. Mr. Mime is exclusive to Europe while Farfetch'd is exclusive to Asia. Kangaskhan is exclusive to Australasia while Tauros is exclusive to North America.

In a recent statement from the developer, it was revealed that more creatures from Gold and Silver will be supplemented in the coming months. On top of that, a limited edition of Pikachu in Pokémon GO started to become available since Dec. 12 and this will last until Dec. 29. This Pikachu is wearing a santa hat in celebration of the Christmas holiday. However, it remains uncertain whether or not Niantic will allow these new baby Pokémon to be hatched from eggs earned within the specified timeline in the next few months.

Pokémon GO Now In India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka

In Pokémon GO news, Niantic had just released the game to new markets, particularly India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Elsewhere, the developer also had inked a partnership with U.S. mobile network giant Sprint for Pokémon GO. Said agreement include recharging phones, getting data plans, collecting in-game items and battle their favorite characters at Sprint and its related companies.
