Nokia Lumia 920, HTC 8X And ATIV S For Less Than $30 On Rogers

Those of you who are in Canada and have been hankering for a Windows Phone 8-powered smartphone have some great news heading your way. Canadian carrier Rogers has deals for the HTC 8X, Nokia Lumia 920 and Samsung ATIV S, whereby consumers can pick up any of these handsets for less than $30.

According to WPCentral, who were tipped off by their "friend within Rogers," the above-mentioned WP8 smartphones are up for grabs for less than $30 on a two-year contract (without Internet).

"You can now add crazy low prices for select Windows Phone 8 devices on mobile carrier Rogers. We just got an email from a rep letting us know that right now you can pick up an HTC 8X, Lumia 920, or Ativ S at some crazy low prices," notes a WP Central report.

Rogers is offering both the 8GB and 16GB variants of the 4.3-inch HTC 8X for $0 and $29.99, respectively, on a two-year contract according to the WP Central report. The carrier will sell the top-of-the-line Lumia 920 for $29.99, also on a two-year contract. Consumers looking for a Samsung handset can purchase the ATIV S, which will also set them back $29.99 on a similar two-year contract.

With so many fantastic Windows Phone 8 smartphones to choose from, consumers are spoiled for choice. What's more, the low price point would likely entice those looking for a new handset, if it's not already the deal clincher!

"If you or a friend/family member were about to jump on board Rogers and wanted a new Windows Phone 8 device you've got a fairly impressive deal to check out," notes WPCentral.

Even though a Rogers representative has confirmed the deals to WPCentral in an email, the carrier's website shows the offer on the HTC 8X for $29.99 (16GB), to be for a three-year contract and not two. Moreover, the Lumia 920 is listed as $0 on a three-year contract instead of $29.99 on a two-year one. Similarly, the ATIV S shows a price of $0 on a three-year contract and not $29.99 on a two-year one.

A possibility exists that Rogers is yet to update the details on its website, or perhaps the offer is in-store only.
