Double XP has officially started on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Players should take advantage of this as the special event will end on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Here's the full mechanics of this year's game.

Double XP Kicks Off

Players of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered can now enjoy the Double XP offering on both games. The offer kicked off last Thursday, Dec. 22 at 10 a.m. PST and will cap off Tuesday, Dec. 27 at 10 a.m. PST.

Double XP Mechanics

Activision has not released exact mechanics for the special offering but it plays similar to the previous events. Double XP is applicable to both the players and the individual weapons XP. For the players, they can obtain the gear and prestige of booting their ranks. For the individual weapons, they can be augmented as quick as possible.

In Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Double XP event is far more advantageous knowing that its multiplayer takes too much effort to gain XP. Double XP doubles chances of players at progression toward high-level equipment and weapon tokens.

Double XP Tips

Players of both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered must pay attention on high-yield game modes like Search and Destroy and Kill Confirmed. This can bring players to higher levels fast on top of other means to farm for XP. Also, take chances on combining this strategy with solid play to increase Salvage count. In the meantime, more Double XP events are still expected in the future.
