Amazon's 'Send To Kindle Button' Sends Web Content Directly To Your Mobile Device, Read It Later

Amazon's new "Send to Kindle" button lets you send web content directly to your Kindle or other mobile device so you can read it later. The Send to Kindle button was announced by Amazon Tuesday and some websites have already began featuring it on their sites.

The Send to Kindle Button puts an end to having to download a web browser extension for reading at a later time, if all sites start implementing this button. It also saves the need of having to look for a particular website or blog, just click a button and send the article right to your Kindle.

You don't have to necessarily have a Kindle to take advantage of the Send to Kindle button. Just download the free Kindle reading app to your favorite portable device and you're all set. The free Kindle reading app is available for Android phones and tablets, iPhones and iPads and already comes preinstalled with most devices. If you don't already have the free Kindle reading app or for some reason you need to reinstall it, check out Google Play for Android or the App Store for Apple iOS devices.

All content you send to your device is stored in one convenient place for reading when you're ready. The Send to Kindle button is an addition to Amazon's Send to Kindle applications. Wordpress bloggers and Web developers can get The Send to Kindle button for free, making it easier for users to enjoy their content at their convenience.

If you want to check out the Sent to Kindle button, check out the Washington Post, Time and Boing Boing. They've already added the button to their sites.
