Fans were already losing their cool when they saw a report(which turns to be a hoax) that Gundam Versus will not push through. However, never say never as the developers of the game just released their very first gameplay video.
Bandai Namco is fond of surprises and it is becoming their trademark for the past decade. In a recent event, they showed us what they are working on. They showcased the very first gameplay of their game in Gundam Festival #3 live stream. As per reports, the roof went off when they saw a glimpse of Gundam Versus. Finally one of the most anticipated games is almost in our reach. The video was not that long but it is more than enough to see what Gundam Versus is all about.
Awakening System Is Upon Us
For those who are not familiar with ‘Awakening System’, today is your lucky day. Awakening System is tagged as a special suit by the avid fans of Gundam. There are two types of Awakening System, the “Blaze Gear” and the “Lightning Gear”. Both of them are available as seen on the footage. There are a lot of things that is needed to discuss with the new system including the Boost drive. For now, let us stick with the video that was release and things to expect with Gundam Versus.
Beta Version Is Ready But No Release Date Yet
Devotee’s of the game tried to check each and every game sites including the official page of Bandai Namco but to no avail, there are no updates with regards to Gundam Versus release date. There’s a buzz in the gaming community that they might unleash their game early next year or September(where almost new games are released). Some are furious already knowing that the game might not be available in their country. Usually, when Bandai Namco released their game, their priority are the Asian countries which are understandable since their headquarters is in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan.
Gundam Versus Gameplay Verdict
So far, with the latest footage that was released, Gundam Versus will be an interesting game. They were able to show us new things to look out for in the game and they were able to reuse Mobile Suit Gundam 00 opening theme as their background music. What intrigues us is the Boost Drive and Awakening System.
