The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Updates: New Mini-Guardian Boss Revealed

Though the release of the next Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has yet to be announced, a lot of news has been surrounding the next installment in Nintendo's million-dollar franchise. Just recently a new image has been leaked of Link fighting a new boss in the game., and it's a character that people have seen before.

The image was posted in The Legend of Zelda's Facebook page, and it teases some intense action with the game's hero, Link. As per reports, the character could very well be a mini-boss in the game, as previous trailers have showcased much larger enemies for Link to battle.

Earlier this week, the same page had posted a festive picture featuring the same character, only covered in Christmas decorations and standing beside a snowman (in the shape of another new enemy from the game). The character's design seems to be a mix of science and magic, and the bright colors on it make it look like he came right out of a kaleidoscope.

Bitbag also reports that this will be the last game for the Wii U, and it will also be one of the premiere titles for Nintendo's new up-and-coming console, the Nintendo Switch. There are, however, rumors going around that the game will not release on the same time as the Nintendo Switch because the developers have been having a hard time trying to localize the game.

It's said that getting Breath of the Wild available for different types of consoles was proving to take more time than they initially anticipated, and the delay could very much lead to the Nintendo Switch coming out before the game. This could be due to the fact that the Switch will be the first of its kind, mixing the best of both console and handheld gaming.

The upside is, the news is just a rumor, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild could very much come out with the Nintendo Switch sometime in mid-2017.
