Overwatch Fans Are In For A Huge Treat From Blizzard

Yes, that's right -- Blizzard is brewing something huge for all the fans of Overwatch. This is in preparation for the highly celebrated Diablo anniversary. And with such huge event, the likes of in-game rewards and/or updates are only to be expected. Here's what it's all about!

According to Express, a new Overwatch update is said to arrive soon. This one is designed specifically to pave the way for the celebration of the aforementioned anniversary. From a good number of special new items to tons of in-game events, it's safe to say that this is going to massive. The event refers to the 20th birthday (come December 31) of yet another franchise from the studio -- Diablo, that is.

Apart from Overwatch, games such as Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 will be part of the forthcoming celebrations. So, players of these titles better expect the new stuff to arrive on the aforesaid date. It's definitely going to be a blast!

Overwatch, in particular, will acquire a very special set of in-game sprays. Each of these represents the different classes in Diablo. Moreover, a new player icon is expected to arrive. This one here is going to represent the infamous Lord of Terror. Hearthstone, on the other hand, will introduce the Tavern Brawl event. The latter includes a hooded stranger with a secret of sort.

But of course, the best of all here is coming to Diablo 3. The title is expected to receive an in-game port of no other than the original title in the titular franchise. It's worth noting that Blizzard has already announced this at BlizzCon this year. It's going to offer a total of 16 levels and at least four main bosses. A special filter is also to be expected.
