Bra Insert Meets Foundation Sponge: Find Out Why Makeup Fanatics Are Crazy About This

No, that tiny silicone square is not going to get stuffed into your bra. It may look promising to create a sexy cleavage but there's more to it than meets the eye- it's actually one of the most ingenious makeup sponges you can ever find.

Introducing the Silisponge- a new technology in the cosmetics industry designed by Molly Cosmetics. This make makeup applicator is made of a non-toxic Silicone.

The Silisponge does not suck up all of the make up unlike most of the traditional blending tools used nowadays. It is also made up of polyurethane and silicone which makes it easy to clean after use.

Silisponge also has a flexible interior which enables easy blending of the foundation or concealer upon the contours of the face. The coating of Silisponge is also resistant to grease and oil- therefore, this applicator can last for longer use.

Fifi Yee, director of Molly Cosmetics, explains that Silisponge is non-porous--therefore, it will not soak 'wet' cosmetics such as stick or liquid foundations, cream blushes or cream concealers while applying makeup. This also means that Silisponge will allow maximum application of the amount of product you need to use, reducing it to half the amount of what you will usually apply when using a sponge or brush.

"It also allows for a super easy clean up - only mild soap and lukewarm water are needed," Yee added. "Patting it on towels will immediately dry it, so you can put it away instantly."

"The material is quite tough. As long as you keep it away from sharp objects like your tweezer or brow scissors, it will last a very long time," said Yee, while emphasizing on durability.

The Silisponge can be washed clean with soap and lukewarm water. It can be used as long as its exterior appears intact without signs of wear.

The Silisponge is sold at $10 per piece at mollycosmetics.com.
