Several explorations have been made on Mars and Saturn and 2016n has been a gateway to the discovery of alien life in space. Although there has been a lot of false alarms in the past years, scientists are expecting for a breakthrough towards the last quarter of 2017.
The Cassini space probes are reportedly finishing its space rounds in September 2017. As it has been studying Saturn for a couple of years now, NASA scientists and alien life hunters are hoping to receive a more positive result on their search for a possible extraterrestrial presence.
There have been a number of alleged signs of alien life in space that were revealed in the just concluded year 2016. Numerous reports talked the alleged existence of aliens in Mars, talking about the presence of spoons, spiders, mysterious people-figure, and even ancient pyramids on regions of the red planet.
One of the most convincing and most talked about discoveries of the said year was the detection of strange radio waves that sparked rumors of alien to human communication. The speculation is yet to be resolved by space scientists though. Recent reports also added details to the past discovery that the compositions of two of the moons of Saturn, Titan and Enceladus, are capable of supporting alien life in space as noted by The Sun.
Following the ending of the Cassini mission, scientists are claiming that there will be a breakthrough in the alien hunt this year. The physicist Dr. Simon Foster of the Imperial College London, believe in such according to reports. "We don't know hardly anything...it is quite nice to say that it could be aliens, whereas a lot of it is just a phenomena that we haven't discovered," Foster told the Express. "Either way there is a breakthrough just around the corner," he added.
Although optimism is set high for scientists in their search for ET, reports say that life forms in Saturn or Mars might be more like microbial. Despite this theory from the experts, some people are still trying to prove that an alien life in space similar to human life on Earth also exist in other planets.
