Mass Effect: Andromeda Latest News: No Plans To Bring Game To Nintendo Switch Unless Fans Want It

It seems definite that Mass Effect: Andromeda will not be playable on Nintendo Switch at this time. This is confirmed by Michael Gamble, the game producer at BioWare. However, he also issued a caveat. He mentioned that if the fans really want it, they may consider the idea.

Gamble made his statements during his interview with Stevivor. He gave some information about the much-awaited Mass Effect: Andromeda video game. At one point, the interview led to the Nintendo Switch porting issues. From his comments, it seems BioWare is not planning to bring the video game to Switch.

He said that there are no plans for this. Gamble added that if the Nintendo Switch is launched and players are hankering for Mass Effect: Andromeda, then they may consider it. BioWare, according to him, is not in the habit of ignoring opportunities like that.

Some in the gaming community suggest that avid fans of Mass Effect: Andromeda  should take to social media if they really want to have this upcoming video game playable in Nintendo Switch once this console is made available. But the release date of the video game is getting nearer. Observers say that fans of the video game should soon see if Gamble will be true to his word.

Meanwhile, Mass Effect: Andromeda is slated to debut in the spring of 2017. It will be initially playable on XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Gamble mentioned in his interview that his company will think about game enhancements for PS4 in January or February. The enhancement he is referring to is for Project Scorpio.

It seems that BioWare has scheduled a press briefing for Mass Effect: Andromeda. If this briefing pushes through, fans of the video game will have more definitive news in relation to the Nintendo Switch issue. The briefing is set on Jan. 12, 2017.
