EA On The House Offers Free Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect 2 has been considered by most fans as one of the greatest games of all time. Thankfully, EA On The House promotion for PC which gives away free game titles from time to time will now feature Mass Effect 2 as their giveaway game. The timing of this release makes flawless sense as the release date of Mass Effect: Andromeda was just announced.

According to the report from Polygon, with the free Mass Effect 2 base game, players will now just have to deal how to grab the game's expansion pack for a lower price. As reported, Mass Effect 2 applies the RPG structure of the first title and modifies it into a more action-oriented game. These changes lead to several fans feeling a bit disappointed. However, the end result of the title was impressive enough which gained recognition as one of the best action-RPGs ever created. Since then, Mass Effect 2's formula has been copied by countless games.

Meanwhile, its sequel, Mass Effect 3 has gained its own controversy thanks to its confrontational ending. While the ME series was all about choices and its impact on the surroundings and characters around you, the ending still goes down into one simple choice which seems to bring a little consequence outside the cut scene. Actually, some DLCs of the game can help despite the numerous arguments surfacing online on how Mass Effect 3 handled the story of Commander Shepard and his team, as Attack of the Fanboy reported.

On the other hand, Mass Effect: Andromeda seems to get away from all of these disputes since the upcoming title will feature a whole new world and new characters. Fans are now wondering how this new game will turn out. Moreover, whether it is a success or a flop, the end results will be seen when the game launches on March 21 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
