For the first time, Chinese car manufacturer GAC, will get a chance to be featured on the main floor of the 2017 North American International Auto Show. Different companies such as Google and animation producer, Pixar, would also take part in the show. A fun-filled event awaits those who will attend one of the biggest car shows on the United States.

The GAC Has Already Been Featured In A Hollywood Movie

The GAC Group, unknown to many, has already entered the North American International Auto Show since 2013. They are famous for introducing the small size sports utility vehicle, the GS5, which was featured on the "Transformer: Age of Extinction" movie. They have also joined the event in 2015 and had presented the GS4. This would be the third time that the Chinese carmaker would join the auto show.

A Concept Of All Sorts Would Be Introduced

GAC, however, where only featured on the sidelines of the past two North American International Auto Show they have joined. This year's event would be special for them since they finally get a spot on the main floor of the event. They would be introducing, not one, but a trio of new cars. The cars are the GS7, electric car GE3, and the EnSpirit Concept car.

They are planning to fully introduce their cars to the American market starting 2018. No details have been announced yet for the GS7, and the only detail known for the GE3 is that it would be an electric vehicle. The EnSpirit Concept car is said to be a cross between a sedan, a sports utility vehicle, and a convertible.

Disney And Google Presentation At The Show

Aside from GAC entering the main floor of the auto show, other companies would also join in the fun as they introduce their products and new technology. Disney's Pixar, even though not a car company, would open the festivities by giving news of the upcoming "Cars 3 movie." Pixar might be releasing a new official trailer for the Nascar-like of the cartoon movie favorite, Lightning Mcqueen.

The teaser trailer of the upcoming "Cars 3" movie by pixar lasts only about 50 seconds and little detail is shown except Lightning McQueen having a bad crash, and a possible introduction of a new hybrid vehicle. The Cars movie franchise has taken over the hearts of both young and old petrol heads all over the world. A Variety Of Presentations From Other Car Brands

Different events would also take place in the 2017 North American International Auto Show. Google Waymo's, John Krafcik, would also have a speech discussing their autonomous vehicles. Winners of the 2017 North American Car, Truck and Sports Utility Vehicle of the year would also be announced at the show. New models from car manufacturers like Volkswagen and Chevrolet are also expected to be unveiled. Audi, BMW, Nissan, and Ford would also be making their own presentations. The North American International Auto Show, also known as the Detroit Auto Show, would start on January 8 until January 22.
