Shop At BMW Showroom Through Google's Augmented Reality

Buying a car has been one of the most detailed processes ever done in a transaction. Consumers would always want to see a greater perspective of how the car really looks like. With this, they always opt to choose to transact face-to-face than to use the comfort of doing it online. But Google seems to have its own remedy for the men's longtime problem.

Google Collaborates With BMW To Formulate BMW I Visualizer, An App Perfect For Car Consumers

According to Tech Times, BMW i Visualizer has been made to help consumers see cars online just the way it is personally. The app was developed by two distinct entities, the BMW and the Google's Project Tango. The said app lets everyone's smartphones be used to project images in the physical space. It is an indoor mapping technology suited for people who would want to see everything within the comforts of their life.

Furthermore, it was reiterated that the BMW i Visualizer will let consumers view the vehicles just like it was in front of them. The said app uses 3D camera sensors to be able to project a life-sized image of the car you would want to see. Also, you could also get a chance to see the glimpse of the vehicle's interior. Just click the button assigned and it would magically activate lights, change car's color and open vehicle's doors.

BMW I Visualizer To Be First Launched On Selected Countries, Release Date Revealed

On the other hand, it was revealed that the app would have its first launch ion selected countries across the globe. This includes China, Germany, UK, Japan and United States. And as soon as everything is seamless, it is expected that the entity would be officially releasing the app in Google Play this year, 2017.

However, it was stated that those who could experience the advancement should have a Tango-enable phone, which is the ASUS Zenfone AR and the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro.
