The developers of the game just dropped the bomb when they announced that players can actually import characters from Pokemon Omega Ruby, X,Y and Alpha Sapphire to create a team in Ratings Battle.
Pokemon Sun and Moon Battle Season 2 is scheduled to happen from January 17 to March 19. Since they’ve allowed to use the entire National Pokedex in the battle, there is a list of rules that needs to be checked by each player. These rules were already finalized by the developers and in the event that players won’t adhere to the rules, they might get a ban on the game.
Here are some of the rules in Pokemon Sun And Moon: Ratings Battle 2:
Players can only use only Legendary or Mythical Pokemon in a team battle. The reason behind the restriction is to keep the balance in the game. However, you can use Tapus and Ultra Beast with no limits. So for those who are planning to join the battle, make sure that Tapus and Ultra Beast is your expertise.
Going back with maintaining the balance, all Pokemon will have the same level once they’ve entered the battle. Developers already set it to level 50, which is very ideal regardless of the character. Players can only register 1 of the following Pokemon, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, Magearna, Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem.
Time limit differs in every sequence of the game. Each player gets the luxury of 90 seconds to select their Pokemon before the fight. Then receives another 60 seconds to select an action. Max time of the game is 10 minutes. This duration should be enough for each trainer to plan their gameplay and defeat their opponents.
