5 New NVIDIA GPUs Optimize Asus, Lenovo, Samsung, Toshiba Notebooks

On Monday, GPU maker NVIDIA announced the release of five new notebook GPUs that boast of maximizing performance. NVIDIA promises that the GPUs will not only enhance performance, but will also work in the background to save battery life.

Users can also expect an enriching visual appearance and overall user experience from the advanced technologies of the new GPUs. Adjusting the GPU clock speed to achieve optimized graphics is the new NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology. NVIDIA Optimus technology lengthens battery life by toggling the GPU on and off, running only when needed. Finally, GeForce Experience software provides the best visual quality and performance by adjusting settings in-game. It's customized specifically to the user's notebook and maintains the GeForce drivers, keeping them updated.

This trifecta of technologies is featured in the new lineup of the GeForce 700M GPUs from NVIDIA. The performance segment includes the GeForce GT 750M, GeForce GT 745M and GeForce GT 740M GPUs. The mainstream segment consists of the GeForce GT 735M and GeForce GT 720M GPUs.

NVIDIA GeForce 700M GPUs will be implemented in notebooks from major manufacturers. Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba will introduce notebooks with GPU Boost 2.0 technology soon. The incorporation of NVIDIA's advanced technologies will seamlessly maximize the notebook experience.

Vice President and General Manager of the notebook business unit at NVIDIA, Rene Haas said, "There is an elegant simplicity to NVIDIA's GeForce 700M notebook technologies. You use your notebook how you want, and GeForce makes your experience awesome."
