Nintendo Switch News: Netflix Said To Be Not Working, Customer Service Confirms

With the new Nintendo Switch release date finally revealed recently at an event in Japan, people have gone crazy about the console and it's amazing features coming up every day. But according to recent reports, quoting an answer given by a Netflix customer support, the Nintendo Switch does not support the popular TV and movie streaming service, Netflix.

Netflix Customer Support said "I just checked the information but we still have not received any update regarding this, at this time it does not support Netflix". The Netflix fans all over must be quite disappointed as they would not be able to use the application on their favorite gaming platform Nintendo Switch. It could also be a huge blow to the company. Netflix has more than 80 million subscribers all over the world. It is even available on underpowered devices as well such as Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, Wii U, PS3, XBox, XBox 360 and XBox One. Therefore, it was very shocking for all the users who might have expected the same from Nintendo Switch.

However, the console has some amazing line up of games that would somehow cover up the lack of other functionality such as Netflix for movies and TV shows. Furthermore, gaming companies like Ubisoft might collaborate with Netflix to produce some amazing gaming shows, which will increase the interest even more in Netflix for Gamers. There are a lot of suggestion going on between reporters that it might be possible that both companies are currently discussing and negotiations are going on in order to turn this into fruition. Still there is no official announcement as to when would this might come true. In any case, If Netflix is made available for the console then it would probably be one more selling point for the now popular gaming console.
