Xperia Z New Qi Wireless Power Case From Ipan Ipan

Sony Xperia Z is among the list of devices that can be charged wirelessly. A company called Ipan Ipan now offers a Qi wireless power case for the Xperia Z that comes with a built-in wireless charging receiver. The flip case itself also protects the phone from dust and scratches and drops.

The new custom-made Qi wireless power case for the Xperia Z is Qi certified by the Wireless Power Consortium. Ipan Ipan also offers a wide range of mobile accessories for devices including the iPhone 4/4S, Samsung Galaxy S3/mini and the Galaxy Note 2.

"Our aim is to offer to OEM/ODM customers the largest range of Qi cases on the market. We have developed custom-made solutions to help our customers expand their own range of products," Michael Turbé, vice president of sales at Ipan Ipan, said.

Ipan Ipan with its patented receiver module cleverly integrated the wireless power of Qi into a case made to fit the Xperia Z. The module is embedded into the case, so it's not visible. Ipan Ipan can customize the cases in many colors and materials, giving customers more choices. Making this case was no walk in the park, during the process the France-based manufacturer came up with a solution.

"This Smartphone was the most complex device we had to work on. Water-resistant and dust proof, it was not possible to have any access to the battery of the SONY Xperia Z through the back cover, or to use the Micro USB port. We had to implement a solution with the 2 Pin connectors normally used by the SONY Xperia Z docking station. The result is perfect and so thin that the embedded electronic is totally invisible," vice president of Design & Development, Olivier Dhervilly said.

The Sony Xperiz Z Qi wireless power flip case from Ipan Ipan is available for purchase for $51 alone, and 89 Euro $116 with the charging pad.
