A lot of players keep on wondering why they're not getting that elusive Lapras, Dratini or Snorlax after countless of 10km Eggs that they've hatched. Well, a new study reveals the astonishing odds for hatching end game Pokémon in Pokémon GO and the results will astound everyone - miserably.

Pokémon GO: Drop Rates For 10km Eggs

Pablopang, one of the community members of The Silph Road has shared the results of the Pokémon GO research program that the team has conducted to analyze the odds of getting rare egg drops which was observed from 133,547 eggs in total. Here's everything that they've found:

Pokémon GO: Snorlax, Lapras and Dratini Drop Rates

Pablopang's research revealed that only about 2.4% of the 133,547 eggs were rare or 10km eggs. This works out to one in every 42 eggs. Based on this, one can also see the scanty drop rate of end game Pokémon such as Snorlax and Lapras. Even Dratini is considered as end game Pokémon since this Pokémon will eventually evolve to Dragonair and then into Dragonite, which is considered by many as one of the best Pokémon currently in the game.

The chart shows that Lapras has the lowest drop rate which is currently sitting at a staggering rate of 0.23%. This is then followed by Snorlax at 0.29%. Although Pablopang's research doesn't look good for people that wished to find one of these end game Pokémon for their gym battles, there is still a good reason players to keep on hatching eggs as it provides a hefty amount of Stardust. Even if one doesn't get the ideal end game Pokémon from the rare egg that he or she has hatched, he is still getting the resources that he need to boost and improve the Pokémon that he currently has.
