Grand Theft Auto 5 modders have now updated GTA IV Liberty City. This group of people have worked on the GTA V expansion following its PC release in 2015.

Grand Theft Auto V Converter Mod

OpenIV, the GTA V modders, released a trailer to announce the latest development to the new mod. The trailer featured a huge exploration area across the vast ocean waters, although the other side was only teased by an outline of what could be awaiting fans. Also, in the newest update, the fans learned the detail as to when the mod will be released.

The team has confirmed that they are currently working on the legal issues regarding the addition of a brand new map into the gameplay. Apparently, the team are in the works of making the mod a converter; transforming Liberty City from GTA IV to the GTA V copy.

GTA V fans who would like to run the newest version are required to download a conversion tool beforehand, specifically the one that carries additional assets. The tool will be able to convert GTA IV Liberty City to GTA V copy. Also, the tool will be instrumental in creating a DLC pack, which can be installed to GTA V as a single player pack.

Grand Theft Auto V Tops UK Game Charts

Three years post GTA V release, the game brings Rockstar to the top of UK's charts, once again. This marks the tenth-year of the blockbuster crime gameplay in the UK charts.

Rockstar, GTA V developer, experience three percent increase in the present week's sales. In December 2016, an amazing six million units sold was recorded, making the franchise one of the biggest contributor to the economy of the British in the year that was. Spending ten weeks in the UK charts, the Grand Theft Auto V was joined by Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in the second rank, making 53 percent increase in its sales.
