Huawei Is Offering Its U.K. Fans A Chance To Get The Honor 6X For Free
The Chinese company Huawei is offering its fans a prize that is worth taking.
What Is Huawei's Offering?
According to Digital Trends, Huawei is giving away the new Honor 6X for free in the U.K. Unfortunately, only 5 lucky fans will be able to win it.
How To Get The Honor 6X?
Unlike common giveaways that require hopeful contestants to share something through Facebook or Twitter, Huawei only needs its contestants to go through the Honor's website and register their information. They have until January 26, 2017, to complete the registration. After that, it will be a matter of waiting until Huawei announces who the 5 lucky winners are and have the Honor 6x sent to them.
The Bad News
Nope, the bad news is not to having to pay any hidden charges or whatsoever. The bad news is that the winners are required to run its paces and provide a review. On their review, they must address the Honor 6X's dual-camera set-up, the 3,340 mAh battery, and the octa-core Kirin 655 chip with its 3 GB of RAM storage.
According to Wilkin Lee, Honor's sales and marketing manager in the U.K., this is a good thing for both the company and its fans, because, through this, they can get feedback straight from their fans. And though this program is only available in the U.K., there are no announcements from the company if this will expand to other territories as well.
Other Good News
If you won't be one of the 5 lucky winners, at least the Honor 6X is available for a relatively inexpensive $250 unlocked. However, it won't work with carriers like Sprint and Verizon though.
One time during a flash sale on January 11, 2017, these phones was sold for as low as $200 only and quickly got sold out in a matter of 20 minutes. And in the following week, another flash sale was held. As for when will the 3rd flash sale come, it is unknown.
