Psy Gentleman: Gangnam Style Singer's New Single Pops Up In New Zealand iTunes Store

The new single and second international release from Korean pop star Psy, Gentleman, is available for download in the iTunes New Zealand store. It was already announced that the single would release Friday, April 12 and it's now Friday in New Zealand, so anxious fans can give it a listen.

Psy's single Gangnam Style and accompanying rodeo-esque dance was such a huge success last year that it made the 35-year-old K-pop artist an international star. The Gentleman single will also feature its own trademark dance.

The highly anticipated song was released at midnight and may be prove to be just as successful as the international song that started the Gangnam Style dance craze. Psy was very secretive about the details of his new single, Gentleman, until the song debuted on iTunes. In Gentleman, a techno-dance song, Psy utters the phrase ''I am a party mafia!''

Indeed, his music does awaken the party animal in many and the new dance for Gentleman is expected to debut over the weekend. Psy is holding a high-octane live concert at Seoul's World Cup Stadium on April 13, where he will perform Gentleman for the first time.

As reported by Reuters, Psy hinted a little about the style of the Gentleman dance: "I can't tell you about the dance but all Koreans know this dance — but (those in) other countries haven't seen it," Psy said.

Psy took over YouTube with his Gangnam Style video, receiving over 1.5 billion hits.  He was seen in Seoul filming the video for Gentleman, so fans should see that hit YouTube sometime soon. From the looks of the photos posted online, it seems this will be another high-budget video. To check out Gentleman, head over to New Zealand's iTunes website
