Resident Evil 7 Update: Full DLC Details Anoounced; PS4 Receives An Early Release Date

Capcom's Resident Evil 7 DLC was already planned out and the developer has currently made the details of this DLC official. This announcement was planned to simultaneously happen during the game's launch and some fans will be given the chance to get the DLC earlier than the others.

Capcom has made a revelation through its blog post that they have made a time-exclusivity deal with Sony therefore all of the DLC of their games will now be coming to PlayStation before any other console. They also said that their first expansion which is called Banned Footage Vol. 1 will be launched on Jan. 31 for PlayStation 4. However, Xbox and PC gamer will have the chance to have this game until Feb. 21. The DLC costs $10 individually but it is also a part of a season pass which is worth $30.

There were also details on the Banned Footage Vol. 1 which is said to contain Bedroom Scenario. The player should find a way to escape from a locked room and they have to avoid letting Marguerite Baker know this. The Nightmare Scenario requires the player to fend off enemies while trying to survive until morning. As for the Extra Mode, Ethan Must Die is a tough-as-nails mode that is separate from the tapes and storyline of the main game, according to Attack of the Fan Boy.

Banned Footage Vol. 2 DLC will follow shortly after this and it will be launched on PlayStation 4 on Febr. 14 and it will come to Xbox One and PC on Febr. 21. It cost $15 thus it is a little bit expensive although it already includes a season pass. Resident Evil 7 is already available for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
