Overwatch Update: New 3v3 Glitch Makes Certain Hero Fly Into Oblivion

A newly discovered Overwatch bug makes the 3v3 mode seemingly unplayable for the hero, D.Va. Meanwhile, a new video showcases how the game runs at 100x100 pixels.

The 3v3 mode in the game has seen a lot of serious bugs over the past few months - notably the Mei Ice Wall glitch. Because of this, some players have been outright avoiding the specific mode due to its broken features. Blizzard has already responded to the numerous complaints from fans but now a new bug has appeared yet again.

The New 3v3 Bug Focus on D.Va

This time, the glitch only affects the gamer girl, D.Va, when she leaves her mech. However, the consequence is so severe that she basically leaves the map and enters a completely new (but unintentional) area, as per Kotaku. While she still has access to her pistol, D.Va has no way of returning to the battlefield and slowly falls to her death instead.

This puts the mode in a bad spot as the said hero is usually the last one standing in a 3v3 battle due to her large health pool. If opponents manage to eliminate her mech, it automatically disqualifies her from the fight. Since then, many players have been reporting and posting this glitch on social media but Blizzard has yet to respond.

Running Overwatch on Crazy Resolutions

That aside, PC Gamer reports that YouTube MinorVidsPC lowered the game's resolution far less than the minimum 1024x768. He posted a surprising video showcasing what the game looks like when it runs on 100x105 pixels. Naturally, the graphics are extremely terrible and makes everything almost unrecognizable.

On the other hand, 300x300 still makes the game somewhat playable, unlike its lower resolution counterpart. Thankfully, Blizzard has done a great job of optimizing their games to run smoothly over a wide range of PCs. For this reason, players will not have to settle with these kinds of resolutions when it comes to playing Overwatch.
