Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S8 phone has been making headlines in the past weeks. Apparently, this phone is up for an imminent release which is why the web is now filled with all the leaks and rumors that point to it. Needless to say, Samsung may be one of the first companies to launch a flagship phone this 2017 but it clearly isn't the only one that's expected to do a launch this year. Here are some of the most awaited Samsung competitions for 2017.
Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 7S And iPhone 7S Plus
Apple is rumored to release three new iPhones this year. It was said that the company will be releasing a premium iPhone to celebrate the brand's 10th year in business and there would also be two regular iPhone successors to the iPhone 7 series. The anniversary iPhone is currently referred to as the iPhone 8 and the regular iPhones as the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus.
LG G6 And LG V30
The LG G6 is bound for an MWC 2017 launch this coming February. Rumors say that this phone will sport a 5.7-inch display and a glass-metal body. There could also be a dual camera system and an iris scanner alongside a waterproof hardware. The LG V30 on the other hand still has raw rumors at this point in time, although there are some reports saying that it could lose the secondary ticker feature.
HTC 11
The HTC 11 is yet another rumored phone to run the Snapdragon 835 processor. It is also expected to boast a higher RAM size of up to 8 GB, as per Trusted Reviews. Additionally, it could boast of a 12 MP dual cam system on its rear and an 8 MP camera on its front surface.
OnePlus 5
The OnePlus 5 is also expected to run the fastest chipset from Qualcomm which is the Snapdragon 835. It is also rumored to come with an improved set of specs. Needless to say, the most interesting thing about the next OnePlus flagship is probably the fact that it might skip the OnePlus 4 name.
Google Pixel 2
The Google Pixel 2, on the other hand, is rumored to be more focused on its camera and waterproofing. It was said that the Pixel 2 will give priority to low-light photography and added camera features. With that said, the MP count in the Pixel 2's camera may not be too big but Google will make up for that through new cam features.
