Why The LG G6 Is Better Than The Nokia 6

The LG G6 is going to be unveiled next month at the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona. A place where all the tech companies show their latest technology in regards with smartphones. Now, you must have heard some of its possible specs and features of this device. But for this article, we will be talking about how better it is against the Nokia 6.

More Premium-Looking Body Design

There is no doubt that the Nokia 6 looks like a premium smartphone which is similar to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus' design that comes in an all-metal unibody. However, for the LG G6, it is said to feature a combination of metal and glass unibody. If that doesn't look more premium, then what is?

Jaw-Dropping Screen Design

When the Xiaomi Mi Mix came out, everyone was amazed of its amazing design, especially for its thin bezels and screen-to-body ratio. Just like the Xiaomi Mi Mix, the LG G6 is rumored to have a screen-to-body ratio of about 90 percent and looking at it would feel like holding an entire screen in your hand.

Another thing that is worth mentioning about the LG G6's display design is the new screen technology it will be having. No, it isn't Samsung's new AMOLED screen tech, but LG is calling it "QHD+" with a screen resolution of 2840 x 1440 pixels. It is also a 5.7-inch screen, so most people are going to appreciate it.

Compared to the Nokia 6, this device only has a 5.5-inch Full-HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. However, this doesn't mean that the Nokia 6 is a crappy, smartphone. It has good specs and features for a smartphone within its budgets range.

The Chipset

This is one of the main things that many tech enthusiasts questions about Nokia: why did they give the Nokia 6 a Snapdragon 430 chipset? You know, it's good that Nokia decided to use a famous chipset, but a Snapdragon 430 chipset is too old for a smartphone in 2017 and too small for a big comeback.

As for the LG G6, sadly, the expected Snapdragon 835 will not be part of it. Instead, it will be sporting the Snapdragon 821 chipset. With this chipset on board, it is nonetheless a good one to have compared to a Snapdragon 430 chip.
