Pokemon Duel players can evolve their Pokemon even during the battle. This can help them gain the upper hand and win the match.

Advantage Mid-Battle Evolution

It's probably easier to field evolved Pokemon in the starting deck. Evolving a Pokemon in mid-battle though will reward that particular figure with additional ten damage points. For example, a Charmeleon that evolved from a Charmander during the battle is more formidable in battle.

Steps in Mid-Battle Evolution

Players will start by customizing their starting deck. Pokemon that are ready for evolution have a blue dot below them. If there's none, that Pokemon cannot evolved in mid-battle. Users need to go to Edit Figures and choose Pokemon needed for evolution by simply turning on blue button. Evolution though is only possible if player has unlocked the evolved state of that particular Pokemon. Players can now select the Pokemon that will evolve during the battle.

Return to the lineup screen. Users will know that the evolution is a success if they see a glowing blue dot below the Pokemon.

Trigger Evolution During Battle

Players will have to complete one final crucial step before they can trigger the evolution. The Pokemon must first successfully win a battle against an opponent. Simply follow the normal procedure in conducting battle. Once the particular Pokemon wins, players now have the option to evolve it.

To Evolve Or Not To Evolve

There are times though in the match where evolving during battle is not advisable. The reasons are usually strategic in nature. For those new to the game though, evolving in mid-battle is recommended. Players will soon know the advantages and disadvantages of evolving Pokemon during the match as they play the game.
