‘Cyborg 009: Call Of Justice' Premieres On Netflix This Weekend

Netflix has just announced new titles that they will be streaming and one of it is the awaited animated film, “Cyborg 009: Call of Justice”. Netflix has listed the said anime movie as a series that is set to air this weekend. Aside from that, Netflix has also provided a trailer, description, and more details on the series.

“Cyborg 009: Call Of Justice” was slated to release in spring of 2017 after its official announcement in Japan. After acquiring distribution rights, Netflix has announced that it will stream the said anime project this Feb. 10. “Cyborg 009: Call of Justice” is actually a full animated movie that is parted into three feature lengths.

Despite that, Netflix will air the series in shorter versions comprised of 12 episodes, hence titled “Cyborg 009: Call of Justice” Season 1 on their site. The full movie of “Cyborg 009: Call of Justice” made its debut in theaters in Japan in November and December last year. It runs in the three feature-length parts in Japanese cinemas for a limited time of two weeks.

Netflix has rated “Cyborg 009: Call of Justice” for viewers above 13 years old and even described the said anime show to be exciting. Created by Shotaro Ishinomori, the movie is about cyborgs who had to get out of their rocks after living in hiding to fight off the greatest threat they have encountered yet. The movie stars Keisuke Koumoto, Misato Fukuen, Takuya Sato, and many others.

“Cyborg 009: Call of Justice” is one of the animated films adapted from the original manga series, “Cyborg 009”, which ran from 1964 to 1981. The franchise has spawned video games and an anime series as well. In fact, the “Cyborg 009” franchise is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with the launching of a new manga set to release this month.
