Injustice 2 Plot Spoilers: Catwoman Next DC Character To Join Batman, Black Canary In Injustice Sequel?

Nether Realm, has been slowly giving fans a taste of the upcoming sequel, Injustice 2. They got them hooked and craving for more as their favorite DC characters start to appear.

Just last week, the producer of Injustice, revealed that Black Canary is going to join the roster of the super-powered, action-packed video game. A fan-favorite, the Black Canary's main asset is her voice. She's got a large set of pipes and a scream that could blow an entire city down. Her big finisher in Injustice 2, according to Cinema Blend is a scream that effectively kneels her opponent, a good punch topped with a kick.

It's only a matter of days before the next character is unveiled. Earlier, it was promised that it it will arrive on Feb. 8, but on a statement released on the official Injustice 2 Twitter, it will instead happen on Feb. 13. This could come in a new heart-wrenching trailer, much like Robin's reveal. So, who is rumored to join the recently announced line of Poison Ivy, Bane, Robin and Braniac?

A leak from 4chan through, from someone who claims to have worked on the mobile version of the game mentioned that it could be a favorite protagonist-antagonist in Batman, Catwoman. The feline mistress is finally going to get a scratch in on a DC to DC face-off. Will fans get to see her graceful swings, kicks and punches in her leather ensemble? That's something they have to wait for and find out.

Injustice 2 is the continuation of the enticing plot in "Injustice: Gods Among Us" where players still see the clash between Batman, Superman, and those heroes and villains who choose to be on their sides. In the midst of the struggle between power and might, a new foe appears and makes the situation more chaotic for both sides. The question is, in the end, who will prevail?

Injustice 2 is set across different arenas - from Gotham to Atlantis. It will hit the stores on May 2017, and will be available in Xbox and PS4 consoles.
