Nioh PS4 Tips: Here Are Some Things The Game Doesn't Tell Players

The brutal world of "Nioh" on PS4 contains a lot of dangers that can easily kill the protagonist even after a slight slip up. Learn these tactics and mechanics that the game fails to mention in order to smite the enemies and make it out alive.

For starters, IGN reports that players should watch out for their enemy's Ki as it could easily turn the tide of battle. Ki, it basically the game's stamina feature, allows players to do a variety of actions like attacking, dodging and blocking. If the enemy is low on Ki, they will be open for a free hit.

Next, it is best to note that not weapons are crafted equally. The game allows a wealth of customization with various weapons and armor containing different types of rarity and abilities. Fans should think over how they want to tackle the game using their weapon of choice before deciding which skills, levels and special effects they want to max out.

Similarly, fans should also pay close attention when activating a skill. This feature is very context sensitive and has different types of requirements before it can be used. Whenever gaining a new skill, players should go over the Skill Customization menu to properly place their preferred abilities.

Moving on, fans can replay any old missions they want to grind for Amrita, loot and money or pick up any missed Kodama. Furthermore, players will also get the rewards listed on the Mission page for going through the same mission again. This feature also gives players the chance to enter the game as a "visitor" for co-op purposes.

That aside, players should not feel overwhelmed with the vast amounts of loot, as per Kotaku. While there might not be an easy way to sort out of inventory, fans will soon get a good sense of which equipment to keep over time. Even so, players should not focus their time trying to manage their inventory lest they pour in more game time fixing their items rather than clearing the "Nioh" for PS4.

The title is praised for its overall design and challenging gameplay. Moreover, it is also fun to play with a friend as it is rewarding to clear through modes and fight enemies together as a team. Those who are fans of the "Souls" series and similar genres might want to consider looking into "Nioh" for PS4.
