ZTE Axon 7 Cheapest Android Phone Is Now Daydream-Ready

The Chinese phone manufacturer is ambitiously trying to compete with the top phone makers from the US and South Korea. The ZTE Axon 7 is a new Android smartphone. A sleek design, premium specs and a reasonable unlocked price, which challenges, even more, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and also Apple's iPhone 7.

The ZTE Axon 7 Is A Powerful Mid-range Phone

ZTE announced on Tuesday that the budget friendly phone will now be Daydream-ready as well, once you download a software update that also brings Android 7.0 Nougat straight to the phone. The update should be available to download for every handset now, according to ZTE. Moreover, you can still take advantage of Google's sale on the Daydream headset, which cost only $49 until February 25.

The ZTE Axon 7 Design, Specs And Features

ZTE Axon 7 is a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels. Powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and comes with a massive of 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card. Talking about the cameras, the ZTE Axon 7 sports a 20-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front snapper for selfies. The ZTE Axon 7 now can get Android Nougat update and under the hood is a decent 3250mAh nonremovable battery.

The ZTE Axon 7 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone accepting Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G, and 4G. Additional features such as sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and the Gyroscope.

ZTE Axon 7 is less expensive yet the best flagship smartphones, it looks and performs like a high-end handset, with front-facing speakers, 64GB of storage and only a few sacrifices. Price starts at $400 depending on the variant.
