‘Attack On Titan' Season 2 Update: Eren's New Power Revealed; New Levi Artwork Teased

The upcoming second season of “Attack on Titan” is already making headlines prior to its premiere date. Updates on the anime series’ new installment have released a detailed synopsis revealing Eren Yeager's new power. The creator of the series also unveiled a new art for “Attack on Titan” Season 2 featuring Levi Ackerman.

The synopsis released for “Attack on Titan” Season 2 goes on to reveal that Eren Yeager has sworn in an oath with himself that he will hunt down and wipe out every Titan. To fulfill this voyage, Eren makes use of his newfound power, which is the ability to become a Titan himself. Unlike other titans, Eren can willingly change into a Titan and return to his human state.

“Attack on Titan” Season 1 ended with Eren’s power being put to light as he takes on an epic battle against Annie with both of them as titans, defeating her eventually. “Attack On Titan” Season is expected to introduce the awaited plot twists, which include other titans just like Eren. These titans who can change anytime they want to happen to be people living within the Wall Rose as well. The new poster of “Attack on Titan” Season 2 featured Ymir and the Beast Titan so expect them to show up, too.

While “Attack on Titan” Season 2 is preparing for its premiere, one of the animators of the anime show has revealed another unfinished artwork. The said artwork featured Levi Ackerman, the stern yet talented Captain of the Survey Corps Special Operations Squad. In the new art piece, Levi stands tall on a tree, clearly on a mission, as he bathes in the moonlight.

This was not the first time a sketch of the upcoming “Attack on Titan” Season 2 was previewed as ones that featured Eren, Mikasa Ackerman, and more were revealed before. The said animated television series will return this April 1. It will be aired on several channels in Japan and will be simultaneously broadcasted with Funimation and Aniplus Asia for the United States and countries in South East Asia.
