NBA Trade Rumors: Jahlil Okafor Going To Chicago Bulls? Serge Ibaka Being Traded By The Magic?

It seems that the Philadelphia 76ers are reportedly discussing a trade deal with a number of NBA teams for one of their big men. The 76ers have Joel Embiid, Noel Nerlens, and Jahlil Okafor. NBA trade rumors indicate that It is Okafor who is reportedly at the center of the negotiation. Is it now the time for Okafor to leave the 76ers?

The Pelicans And The Bulls Are Interested In Okafor

These NBA trade rumors suggest that The New Orleans Pelicans and the Chicago Bulls are the NBA teams that are most interested in Okafor. With the trade deadline getting nearer on Feb. 23, it seems the trade talks between these two teams and the 76ers are going at a faster pace. So, the team's backup center may be storing his uniform and sneakers in another locker if the deal pushes through.

Some NBA sources have told CSN Chicago in recent weeks that the Bulls are calling the 76ers. It seems that their main target for these calls is the 6-foot-11 backup center. It is interesting to note that Okafor is a native of Chicago. Some NBA trade rumors also say that the 76ers are trading not only Okafor but Noel as well. But it is likely that Okafor will go first.

NBA Trade Rumors Say Ibaka Will Be Traded By The Magic

Meanwhile, there are also a number of NBA trade rumors that suggest the Orlando Magic may also trade Serge Ibaka. Apparently, two teams from the eastern conference have expressed their interest to acquire Ibaka from the Magic. They are supposedly the Miami Heat and the Toronto Raptors.

A lot of NBA insiders believe that the Magic will make a move before the trade deadline and will choose the best offer on Feb. 23. Interestingly, Ibaka will become a free agent this coming July. Some NBA trade rumors say that it is better for the Magic to move now and not wait for July since dealing with the Congo native when that time comes will be a bit trickier.
