The highly anticipated Asus Transformer Book TX300 combines a notebook and tablet in an all in one device. The 13-inch Full HD display is detachable from the notebook dock and can function as a standalone Windows 8 tablet.
Windows 8 software and a powerful Intel processor, the Asus Transformer Book TX300 can be used for both work and play. The Transformer Book is ideal for entertainment with its 13.3-inch Full HD display with 1080p. Movies, games and photos are rendered in vivid clarity on the IPS technology display made of Corning Concore scratch-resistant glass. For seamless multi-tasking, the ASUS Transformer Book runs on Intel's powerful i5 or i7 processor, depending on which variant you choose.
The notebook dock and the tablet itself feature built-in high quality stereo speakers. Music lovers can enjoy rich sound courtesy of ASUS SonicMaster audio technology enhancement. This technology was developed in part by Waves Audio, recipient of a Technical Grammy Award. For video chatting, ASUS Transformer Book features an HD camera and microphone. There is also an optional 5 megapixel rear camera that can record 720p HD video.
ASUS Transformer Book offers users storage in both notebook and tablet modes. Users have the option of choosing a notebook that comes with either 320GB or 500GB of storage. In tablet mode, a 128GB solid-state drive (SSD) offers speedy storage for personal files such as apps, music and photos. ASUS boasts that its exclusive ASUS High-Speed Bridge technology offers maximum performance.
Asus announced the ASUS Transformer Book TX300 earlier this year and while released in Europe and recently in Japan, it has yet to make it to the North American market. An ASUS representative told iTechPost that the product may also be released in the United States, but there is currently no information on pricing or availability yet.
