Yakuza Games Are Back! SEGA To Release First 4 Parts Of The Franchise

Yakuza fans have something to be excited about, as Sega announced that they will be releasing the first four entries in the Yakuza franchise. However, the release will come in a limited time only.

Yakuza 0 Prequels Will Be Available On A Limited Time Offer

The long-running action-adventure video game, 'Yakuza 0', has just been recently re-launched for PlayStation 4. Now, players who enjoyed the PS4 version can learn more about the old titles and its hero, Kazuma Kiryuu.

Atlus USA Producer, Sam Mullen announced on his Twitter that SEGA will be selling all 'Yakuza's' earlier titles. Yakuza 1 and 2 for the PlayStation 2, and Yakuza 3 and 4 for the Playstation 3. But the offer won't last long.

Yakuza 1, 2, 3, and 4 Will Come In A Bundle

Players who are interested in buying these games can do it separately or in a bundle. SEGA points at 'Video Game Plus' as their choice retailer. Siliconera shares that the game store will be selling the video games at $38.40 each and $138.25 in a 4-pack bundle.

TechnoBuffalo shared that Amazon will be selling them. Yakuza 1 and 2 will be sold at $49.99, and Yakuza 3 and 4 will be sold for $39.99. The same article states that the reason why the Playstation 2 games are more expensive is because they are harder to find.

The 'Yakuza' franchise is rising again, as they re-release their old titles. Old and new fans of the series will have much to look forward to in the future if the game continues to be a success. 'Yakuza 0' is available now for the Playstation 4. Meanwhile, future titles 'Yakuza Kiwami' and 'Yakuza 6' will be available in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
