PC users downloading Sniper Elite 4 reported that the process gets stuck even if they restart the download. Valve's recommendation is to change the Steam download region. This is the only solution proposed so far for this problem.

Players are also advised to update their GPU drivers. Nvidia GPU owners should also update their software. Another alternative is to use the previous Sniper Elite 3 profile if any.

Another issue involves the crashing of Direct X. It seems the SLI is not compatible with the DX12. Experts recommend using DX 11 with a single card. Players who have updated all their drivers though can run the DX 12. Sounds performance issues have also been plaguing some of the Sniper Elite 4 players. The proposed solution is to set turn of the audio reverb quality from launch.

Still, others report that Sniper Elite 4 does not load and there are several possible solutions for this. One of the causes of this issue is the lack of hard drive space. Users will need to check and delete some of their files to make room for the game. Running the game as an admin can also make this problem go away. Last possible fix is to run Sniper Elite 4 in various compatibility modes.
