Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Prototypes: Which Is Best?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 continues to be a rousing success for the South Korea-based mobile manufacturer, and already everyone is looking to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for what's coming next (not to mention the Samsung Galaxy S4, which has already been lauded by Samsung and the press itself as "the next big thing.")

With all the speculation surrounding what the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will actually look like and which specs/features we can expect from it, we're delighted to see that Samsung likely has not one but three prototypes for the forthcoming phablet in the works.

On Monday, April 29, SamMobile published a very telling report of an "insider" at Samsung who has alleged the three prototypes the company is investigating.

"One with the design of the Galaxy S4 which isn't good news for us," SamMobile says. "One with a completely [sic] different design, which sounds better. And the final one, a flexible display design of the Galaxy Note III. Sadly Samsung isn't sure to use it cause of flexible display problems."

We've already noted that the rumor the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may rock a flexible screen might be bogus, with LG meanwhile hot on its tail with the LG Optimus G2.

The fact that now an "insider" claims a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 prototype with a flexible screen is extant means there's still hope yet for the feature that might be one of the most anticipated developments of the year.

"We've already seen one Galaxy Note 3 concept that uses the Galaxy S4 design language," Gotta Be Mobile reminds us.

"[That] Galaxy Note 3 concept ... shows a Galaxy Note 3 with a thinner, flatter design that uses the same metal band as the Galaxy S4 and similar rounded corners, but with even less bezel space at the top and bottom."

This certainly adds at least some weight to the S4-inspired Samsung Galaxy Note 3 prototype, and though SamMobile might not be happy with the idea, with all eyes still on the S4's launching after the incredible attention its Unpacked event received back in March, should the prototype turn out to be a reality, it can be only good news for Samsung (and phone fanatics alike).

Which prototype do you believe Samsung might go with, for the actual Samsung Galaxy Note 3? Let us know your opinion in the comments below!
