Moto G5 And G5 Plus News, Updates: Promo Materials Released Following Recent Spec Leaks

Motorola will showcase its Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona. After the Spanish electronics dealer, K-Tronix, has leaked some pictures and specs of the upcoming handsets, a new promo materials for both devices have appeared online confirming all the details of the previous leak.

Moto G5

Moto G5 will feature a five-inch FHD display. The handset will be powered by a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon, which has 430 octa-core processor and a 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone will also have an internal storage of 32 GB, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD.

Moto G5 will be running the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. It will feature a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. The smartphone will be powered by 2,800 mAh battery for rapid charging and weighs 145 g and measures 144.3 x 73 x 9.5 mm, as per Droid Life.

Moto G5 Plus

On the other hand, Moto G5 Plus will have a 5.2-inch FHD Gorilla Glass 3 display. Similar to the Moto G5, it will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone will have an internal storage of 64 GB, which can also be expanded up to 128 GB. The handset will be powered by a 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and a 2 GB of RAM.

Moto G5 Plus measures 150.2 x 74 x 7.9 mm and weighs 155 g. Its rear camera is 12 MP dual autofocus pixels and 5 MP front camera. The handset battery will have TurboPower charging with a capacity of 3,000 mAh.

Moto G5 And G5 Plus Features

According to PC Advisor, Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus will feature fingerprint reader, NFC, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light and proximity. Both handsets will offer 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity. The handsets will come in different color variants, which are Lunar Grey and Fine Gold.
