WWE Rumors: Wrestlemania 33 Match Major Changes

For the past weeks, WWE Universe was puzzled on what was happening with Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live. There were a lot of title changes which made the fans think that the Wrestlemania plans are not yet finished.

Wrestlemania Main Event Changes

WWE Creative has at least 2 more months to iron out everything before Wrestlemania arrives. After the Royal Rumble event, it seems very clear that John Cena will face Randy Orton for the main event of Wrestlemania 33 but that is not going to happen. John Cena was eliminated in the Elimination Chamber crowning a new champion in Bray Wyatt. However, this even made the storyline intriguing because right now, Randy Orton is part of the Wyatt family.

Last night at Smackdown Live, Randy Orton answered all the questions on whether or not he will fight Bray Wyatt for the WWE Heavyweight Champion. Well, the answer was no. Fans were stunned when Randy Orton kneeled in front of Bray Wyatt. The General Manager of Smackdown Live then announced that a Battle Royal will happen to determine who will face Bray Wyatt at this year's Wrestlemania.

Champion vs Champion

Also, Monday Night Raw made some shocking moves with one of their segments. Kevin Owens just snapped and attack his best friend, Chris Jericho. A lot of fans are speculating that this will be a setup to a Wrestlemania match which will be tagged as champion vs champion. However, it is somehow contradicting as the original plan was for Goldberg to win the match against Kevin Owens at Fastlane.

Smackdown and Raw also crowned their new Women’s champion. First, it was Bailey who defeated the Queen(Charlotte) with a Bailey To Bailey suplex. Second, it was Naomi’s turn to glow as she stole the spotlight against Alexa Bliss. Wrestlemania match card is not yet finalized and WWE Universe might see some slight adjustments especially in the main event.
