Microsoft has released a new update for Gears of War 4. However, players have been commenting that the patch for their consoles is bigger than the original game. They are saying that the update may contain bugs, which is why the file requires a big memory space.

248 GB Update For Gears Of War 4

Players are excited to download the latest patch for Gears of War 4. However, the expected size of the patch, which 101 GB became 248 GB when they started downloading the game. One NeoGAF user even noted that when he canceled the download, the update returned to its original size.

According to Segment Next, Gears of War 4 occupies 50 GB of the console, which why players think twice before they even try to download the latest patch for the game. They do not want to encounter the same problem others have experienced.

The Coalition neither denied nor confirm if there are bugs in the patch for the game. Players are still waiting for a new update to replace the 248 GB patch because they want to see improvements in Gears of War 4. The developer needs to address the problems as soon as possible.

Other Updates From The Coalition

Steven Dickinson, senior technical animator, will share tips about Motion Warping. The Coalition is starting to innovate the third-person shooter game with less animation but will increase the visual graphics in a game.

The Coalition wants to improve AAA games because some players are starting to lose interest in playing that kind of games. The developer has figured out on how to add warping in Gears of War 4.  The interested players can expect Dickinson's lecture on March 1.

Even if The Coalition revealed how to include warping in games, players are more concerned with their problems regarding Gears of War 4. They are hoping that developer will solve the problem before Dickinson's lecture will happen.
